Where is Curious Kids located? We are conveniently located in Hudson Massachusetts on Coolidge St. (RT. 62 ) What are your hours? Curious Kids of Hudson is open from 6:30 am to 6:15 pm Monday – Friday. Do you offer part-time care? We do offer part-time care. We have a 9am - 1pm program for Toddlers through Pre-Kindergarten. We also have 2-day, 3-day, 4-day and 5-day schedules. What ages do you accept? We accept children 4 weeks old through Kindergarten age. Are all of your teachers certified? All of our teachers are certified through EEC as required by the state. We do have a limited number of assistants, but each assistant's goal is to become teacher certified. Do you have bathrooms in your classrooms? We have bathrooms in every classroom! Each bathroom has half walls so that the children are allowed privacy but the teacher can offer assistance as needed without having to leave the other children unattended. Are you more expensive than other centers? Do you have a security system? Every parent/guardian is given a code to enter at each door, which will unlock it. As the door unlocks, a buzzer sounds, alerting us that someone is entering the building. Anyone without a code must ring the doorbell and be allowed in by a staff member. We have a touchscreen computer at the entrance for parents to check in and out their children as they arrive and depart. This keeps a running log of who is in the building as far as adults and children at all times. Are parents welcome to visit? Curious Kids has an Open Door Policy. We encourage parents/guardians to visit whenever they wish. We have had parents come by for a "special" lunch with their child or to feed their baby on their break from work! What is your snow cancellation policy? We only close if a State-Of-Emergency is called. If it is deemed necessary to close early, all parents are contacted and we close when the last child is picked up. Is your Kindergarten full day or half day? The Kindergarten is a full-day, full-week program. During the public school vacation weeks, our Kindergarten takes a break from academics also and participate in what we call Enrichment Week. The students decide what topics to study for those weeks and they dive in hands first!
